Terms of Service

1. Services

Balakarthikeyan ("I", "me", or "my") provides freelance data analytics, Power BI dashboard development, AI/ML solutions, web development, and related digital services. Detailed scope of work is agreed upon per project before work begins.

2. Project Scope & Deliverables

Before commencing any project, I provide a detailed proposal including:

• Specific deliverables and features
• Timeline and milestones
• Total cost and payment schedule
• Revision and support terms

Any changes to the scope after work has begun may result in adjusted timelines and costs.

3. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed
• Standard payment terms: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery
• Milestone-based payments available for large projects
• Payment via bank transfer, UPI, PayPal, or Razorpay
• Quoted prices are valid for 15 days from the date of the proposal

4. Revisions & Changes

• Each project includes two rounds of revisions
• Additional revisions may incur extra charges
• Major scope changes after development begins will be re-quoted
• Client feedback should be consolidated where possible to minimize revision cycles

5. Delivery & Timeline

• Delivery timelines are estimated and depend on timely client feedback
• Delays caused by late client response will extend the timeline accordingly
• I provide regular progress updates as agreed in the project plan

6. Confidentiality

I treat all client data, business information, and project details as confidential. I sign NDAs upon request. Client data is never shared with third parties and is handled with industry-standard security practices.

7. Intellectual Property

• Upon full payment, the client receives full ownership of the delivered work
• I reserve the right to display the work in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed
• Third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks used remain under their respective licenses

8. Support & Maintenance

• 30 days of post-delivery support for bug fixes and minor adjustments is included
• Extended maintenance packages are available at ₹2,000–₹5,000/month
• Support beyond 30 days or for issues outside the original scope will be quoted separately

9. Cancellation & Refund

• Projects cancelled before development begins: 100% refund of upfront payment
• Projects cancelled during development: refund based on work completed
• Completed and delivered work is non-refundable
• Each case is handled fairly based on the work completed

10. Communication

Primary communication channels are WhatsApp and email. I respond within 24 hours during business days. For urgent matters, response time is typically under 2 hours.

11. Limitation of Liability

I provide services to the best of my ability and expertise. However, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services or deliverables. My total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project.
